Atmos Chesterfield Opens with a bang
Our sixth club opened its doors on Saturday 29 August, and Chesterfield turned up!
Intro sessions ran across the whole weekend and they were busy from the start. Everyone through the door was new to the club, so it was a weekend of first impressions, and it was great to see how many experienced padel players came to find out what we had built.

The Americano socials were phenomenal: rotating partners, everyone playing everyone, and a great number of players who clearly knew exactly what they were doing. This format is the fastest way to turn a room full of strangers into people who recognise each other on court, and by Saturday afternoon it was doing exactly that.
We’ll be running a ton of socials at the club, something for every player, every week. These are best viewed and booked on the Playtomic app.

If you haven’t already, be sure to join the Whatsapp community for all the info on socials, events and to join open matches. Open matches are our favourite way to find a game, especially if you want to play more often than your friends.

Parking is now free in the 16 marked bays in the car park.
If you have never played, the intro sessions are the way in. Trainers are all you need to bring.

Club Manager Jack & Padel Assistant Angelina
Two people you will see a lot of at Chesterfield: Jack, our Club Manager, and his colleague Angelina. Both were on it all weekend, and both are the ones to ask if you want to know what is on, what to book, or where to start. Reach out in the WhatsApp group with any questions you might have.
The Cheesy Pig were with us for the full weekend with a free food van, serving pulled pork loaded fries and burgers that were, by common agreement, sensational. Thanks to them for feeding a very hungry group of players.
The weather did not cooperate. People stayed anyway, played anyway, and got on with enjoying padel in proper British conditions.
Chesterfield joins Darlington, South Shields, Lytham, Worthing and Potters Bar in the Atmos network. The same idea in every one of them: a quality club within reach of the community around it, at a price that does not make you think twice about booking again next week.
